Originally filmed in London, American dancer Tina Cheri debuted in September '94 SCORE magazine. A girl who grew up in a small town in Mississippi, Tina has that friendly, sweet personality that people respond to. She traveled around the USA touring the strip clubs as a feature dancer, especially in the south, at a time when the playing field was extremely crowded and competitive. She married a man she met at a club called Platinum Plus. The couple later did a XXX scene at SCORE.
Tina, who was tiny, shapely and topheavy, was the peewee among SCORE Girls compared to the super-titters, such as Pandora Peaks and Casey James, who dominated the big-bust magazine scene in the 1990s.
"My first job was in a little retail store selling clothes. It was awfully boring and that's why I loved dancing so much and being looked at by horny men," Tina said.
In the late '90s, Tina moved to Los Angeles and got heavily into hardcore porn. Once again, SCORE was a training academy. Tina did a huge amount of porn in 2000, and that year, she beat out Tera Patrick, Bridgette Kerkove and Wendy Knight to win Best American Actress at the Venus, a popular Adult industry convention in Berlin, Germany.
"That's some pretty stiff competition," Tina told Adult Video News. "I didn't even know I was nominated. Isn't that neat? The show is really cool. You can get nude and take nude pictures with your fans, so that's kind of nice. I know we can't do that in America, so the fans get a kick out of that."
