When Annina was brought over to my desk by the studio manager, I nearly fell out of my chair. It's a cliche but pictures do not do her justice. Francesco Scavullo and Richard Avedon could not have done Annina justice. She was dressed exactly as I imagined a chick like her would dress: in a tight, low-cut top, mini-skirt and sexy heels. Traffic stopping. She was sleek, very classy but not snobby, and very friendly in a casual yet formal way. Many European women have a sort of guileless, open manner about themselves, and Annina had that. A lot of American porn stars develop a real snotty, snarly attitude, a bitchy style that's gotten bitchier in recent times (Thank you, Twitter!). Annina was nothing at all like that. She didn't have a bad word to say about anyone.
We spoke on the set of SCOREtv, a permanent set with two chairs in our 3,000-square foot studio. It was like doing an afternoon TV talk show without cameras. This was not going to be an easy interview for me. I had trouble concentrating with Annina dressed like she was. Since this interview was not on video, I didn't have to worry about looking like a flustered geek. Those of you who have met any girls who have posed for our magazine know that they have a larger-than-life look and a larger-than-life effect on your brain. Annina had that effortless power. She has a very good command of English (unlike my lousy German), so we had no problems talking except for the occasional English word or two she was translating in her head. I loved her accent. I love girls with accents. Listening to them speak puts me in a delta-wave brain pattern. Annina was very open about big tits, fucking, double penetration, and her other interests.

Since then, Annina hasn't modeled for any other American studio, and, in fact, she quit the porn scene to become more of a TV celebrity (Big Brother, Annina und Sascha in Love) and a reality-show star. As I write this, Annina has a new show back home in Germany where she goes back to her original pre-porn job fresh out college: selling apartments and houses. It's called Mieten, Kaufen, Wohnen (Rent, Buy, Live). Annina's a very well-rounded woman. If she ever decides to model again, I hope she'll phone us.
