Alexis Silver: Best of Britain
Alexis Silver made her SCORE debut in the April 2005 issue. She shot to the top immediately. She was born in Massachusetts and raised in Leeds, England. "I was lap dancing at the time, and the guys were like, 'Oh, you should do Page 3.' In the UK's tabloid newspapers, the third page is where pictures of topless girls are featured. So, I contacted a studio in Leeds and said, 'I want to do some glamour modeling.' "As it turned out, I never actually did any Page 3 work, but I did a lot of amateur stuff, and then The SCORE Group in England booked me for a shoot ... I guess from just trolling the Internet. And you'd previously gotten girls from the studio I was shooting in. The SCORE photographer, Steve Berlyn, who's good friends with the director of that studio, said, 'If you ever want to try boy-girl, let me know and I'll arrange it for you,' because it was something people always used to say to me, 'Oh, I bet you end up doing porn.' "I owned my own catering company, and I guess I hit a quarter-life crisis, and I said, 'I can't do this anymore.' That was the time when all the lap dancing clubs were popping up in Leeds and the surrounding towns, so I said, 'I'm going to give it a try,' and it worked out. I'd do a pole dancing show and then my private dances. "I didn't really like lap dancing, talking to guys when they're sloshed, and because they have the option to pay you, they can be really rude and say things like, 'You're fat, you're ugly, your tits are saggy,' all that kind of stuff, and I decided I didn't want to lap dance anymore. When I started boy-girl scenes, I said, 'This is good. I'm going to be doing this for a while.' I had no doubt about it. I was like, 'You cannot be serious. I'm getting paid to do this?' Getting paid to have sex is good. Not many of the big American companies shoot solo. They mostly want me to fuck."
