Behind the Scenes at the Boob Cruise 1997 Group Shoot

One of the really great things about the pool on the deck of the spectacular Star Clipper ship that sailed in 1997 was the port holes. People sitting at the bar inside the ship could watch the underwater action. When there were girls swimming and floating in the pool, the view was phenomenal.

The model roster that year was Danni Ashe, Europe DiChan, SaRenna Lee, Busty Dusty, Traci Topps, Angelique, Brittany Andrews, Chloe Vevrier, Minka, Vanessa, Candee Andes, Valerie Fields, Barocca, Katie, Erica Everest, Casey James, Linsey Dawn, Sana Fey, Fantasia, Heather Hooters and Nicole Tyler

The Star Clipper was booked again for the 1998 Cruise. For the last Cruise in 2000, we booked a smaller ship, The Legacy, another Windjammer ship. The passenger roster was purposefully smaller. The idea was to restore an intimate feel to the Boob Cruise after the gigantic cruises of 1997 and 1998.

Boob Cruise Memories: Boob Cruisin' Again

Shot in 1998, this video focused on the 4th and biggest of the five Boob Cruise voyages in the Caribbean. SCORE's 30th Anniversary special video series wraps up with Boob Cruisin' Again. Maybe one day the Boob Cruise will sail again.

"There was a wonderful mellow soul to the '98 Cruise, and by the second day, staff and veteran Boob Cruisers alike had noticed it," TSG founder John Fox wrote in his foreword to the 164-page double issue of November '98 SCORE magazine.

The model roster was huge in 1998. Our sailmates were Adele Stephens, Angel Eyes, Bobbie Wonders, Brittany Andrews, Busty Dusty, Casey James, Connie Kline, Dawn Stone, Deanna Baldwin, Europe DiChan, Heather Hooters, Linsey Dawn, Minka, Nicky Tease, Nicole Tyler, Rachel Rocketts, Roxy Rider, Sana Fey, SaRenna Lee, Skye Blue, Summer Leigh, Sammie Black, Summer Cummings and Vanessa. Never before or since then have so many SCORE Girls assembled in one place.

Voluptuous Magazine Model of the Year Winners 1998-2001

Voluptuous magazine's Model of the Year contests began in 1998, Britain's Carol Brown won that year. Over the years, there were several back-to-back winners.

The winners after Carol are Devon Daniels, Via Paxton, Sharday (2001 & 2002), Kerry Marie, Nicole Peters (2004 & 2005), Nadine Jansen, Angela White, Christy Marks, Karina Hart, Renee Ross (2010 & 2011), Hitomi, Joana Bliss (2013 & 2014), Vanessa Y. (2015 & 2016), Demmy Blaze, Codi Vore, Erin Star and Cheryl Blossom (2020 & 2021).

The Model of the Year contests have always been difficult for the voters.

For example, in 2012, the Voluptuous contestants were Leanne Crow, Terri Jane, Natalie Fiore, Hitomi, Sophie Mae, Karina Hart, Micky Bells, Gya Roberts, Renee Ross, Elaina Gregory, Ashley Sage Ellison and Jenna Valentine. How do you choose one winner from this list?

In 2020, the contests were split. A separate web-only SCORELAND contest was created while the SCORE and Voluptuous contests were featured in the print and digital magazines.
